Thread lift

Before you read this, and especially if you have only incipient signs of aging, I recommend to learn to know about home made microneedling. If I had got to know microneedling at an earlier stage, I think that I could have postponed the surgical operations for a couple of years ahead.

Encouraged by my successful breast surgery, I decided to do something about the incipient signs of aging in my face. From the web I found information about thread lift, which seemed to be a good solution what came to results, as well as to costs and time for recovery.

Unfortunately the inexperienced surgeon put the threads in the wrong layer of my skin, and the result was nothing less than a disaster. The correction made later, did not fully remove the roughness of my face, but did remove the lift effect. The picture below is from before the correction.



Done in a correct way, also thread lift is a good alternative, but doesn't of course give the same results as a facelift. A good result of course requires, that the operation is done in the right way. A surgeon with solid experience should be an absolute condition.

After a long process, I got the correction operation compensated by the patient insurance center. This process last for about 1,5 year. After this, I continued processing with the help of a layer for about one more year. Thanks to this, the clinic repaid the sum I had paid for the primary, unsuccessful operation.
