Forehead lift

Before you read this, and especially if you have only incipient signs of aging, I recommend to learn to know about home made microneedling. If I had got to know microneedling at an earlier stage, I think that I could have postponed the surgical operations for a couple of years ahead.

I had a forehead lift done at the same time as my first fat-transfer. Unfortunately it did not fully succeed; my brows are a little bit asymmetric from birth, and unfortunately the forehead lift "succeeded" better on the side were the brow already was higher from before. Later, we tried to lift the lower side again, with no result however. For this I paid a fee. At the pricelist of this clinic, correction fee is mentioned as its' own "product", specified by extent. On one hand, it's a good thing that the information is found, so it won't come as a surprise at the stage when the situation forces to a repair surgery. On the other hand, it's wrong that the innocent customer (who surely has paid a price high enough for the primary operation) is the one who has to pay. The term guarantee is not known in plastic surgery bransch, at least not in Finland.

Forehead lift is possible to do using different methods. To me, an endoscopic operation was done. With this method, the scars is put in the hair, so they are very unnoticeable. The recovery from this operation is usually faster then from a traditional forehead lift, where a strap of skin is removed either from the hairline or from inside the hair. Usually this kind of operation also leaves more noticeable scars.
