Your life is in your own hands

Every now and then at coffee tables, there are debates about aesthetic surgery, and usually people are horrified at famous persons and others, who have improved their looks with surgical procedures. I never take part of these discussions, but I would like to ask, what's the moral difference between dyeing your hair and a having a facelift. I think they are parts of the same thing. These same persons might ask me, how it is possible that I always look so young and fresh. I use to answer, that it's a consequence of good genes, and of that I live only moderately healthily, and enjoy life.

I strongly believe, that you should always strive to change situations that you are not satisfied with. It doesn't always succeed, at least not immediately, but you should never give up. You must believe and try, no matter what it is about. 
If you give up and are content with the situation, your soul shrinks, there is no life.
This faith has always carried me forward in life. Sometimes reaching the goal has taken me a long time, even years, but deep inside I have never given up, and I have achieved what I have wanted.

Stay away from "there-is-no-need-for-you-to-try-this-is-your-destiny" -persons! They will eat you from inside and make you stop yourself from succeeding.

Don't think that things will turn right all by themselves. You will have to do it yourself, and it might require effort, a lot of effort. But do always visualize, dream, believe. Make plans and back-up plans. It gives not only confidence in the future, it will give you the future!
